Alas de Cristo Rey is a tropical town located in the city of Guaimaca with an estimated population of 2,000. Common jobs include cleaning houses, coffee harvesting, and other agricultural trades. While extreme poverty, high crime rates, and family disintegration are some of the most common struggles - we see a people open to the love of Jesus. As we pursue the mission God’s given us to give hope, inspire dreams, and change worlds - we are seeing it happen! With support from Friends like you, local community leaders, schools, and even the local government, we’re able to rally around the next generation to help them pursue God’s dreams for their lives. We can’t wait to see how He uses them to change their world!
