Dayizenza is a rural town in South Africa located between the two cities of White River and Hazyview. While some people are able to find work in retail shops or at local farms, the community is plagued with a high unemployment rate and many lack basic services such as running water and sewer. Along with these struggles, divorce rates are high, leaving many children to face neglect, lack of education, and proper family support. But even in the midst of these challenges, we are seeing the hope of Jesus take root!

Improvements are being made to help families grow strong! Through our CarePoint, children are able to find the love and support they need - making friends, feeling a sense of safety, and ultimately enjoying just being kids! Beside our Dayizenza CarePoint, the New Hope Fellowship Church has been planted giving children and families a place to know Jesus and walk in His plans for their lives. And we’ve also been able to install sustainable food sources like vegetable gardens, chicken coops, and more! We know the future is bright for the precious people of Dayizenza and we can’t wait to see how God uses them to change the world for His glory!
