Mangwaneni means “the king’s place” and is known for its unity amongst the people. Here, the people have servant’s hearts, are quick to lend themselves to community service, and jump in to meet each other’s needs. Our prayer is that God would use the harmony here in strategic ways - that unemployment and poverty rates will begin to drop, that children will no longer have to be the head of their own households, and that hope will take root! We believe that God has great dreams for the children and families of Mangwaneni and we can’t wait to see how He uses them to change their world!
