Mooiplaas is a remote village located off of a long dirt road at the base of a small mountain in South Africa. Mooiplaas means “pretty farm” and just like its name implies – it is truly a beautiful community full of warm and welcoming people. The people here are known for the way they care for one another. Even with the struggles of unemployment, HIV infections, and poverty – what we see is the hope of Jesus! We are seeing His love take root and children being cared for in body, mind, and spirit. We know that the future is bright for this truly special community and we can’t wait to see how God continues to write their stories for His glory!
