In Teupasenti, we experienced a truly special day filled with teamwork, smiles, and genuine unity. Our youth stepped up with incredible enthusiasm to help unload and organize the boxes of MannaPack food destined for our Care Point.

Seeing the energy and willing spirit with which each of them carried every box fills our hearts with pride and inspiration. For them, this was more than just lending a hand - it was a time to connect, share laughs, and take an active part in the well-being of their own community.

🤗At 9 years old, Neimar teaches us every day what perseverance and the desire to learn truly mean.

He previously lived with his mother in another community, where he was reportedly attending third grade. However, when he moved to live with his father and paternal grandparents and enrolled in a new school, his teacher noticed significant learning gaps - he had not yet learned to write his own name. With great dedication and care, it was decided that he should start in first grade to build strong academic foundations.🩵

Today, Neimar’s progress is remarkable: he works hard constantly, has learned so much, and never gives up in the face of challenges. He is well-behaved, loving, and joyful. Living just two minutes away from our Care Point, he loves coming every day to share with his friends and receive the nutritional support and guidance he needs.

In his free time, nothing brings him more happiness than riding his bicycle. When asked about his future, his eyes light up with determination: he dreams of becoming a police officer to serve and protect his community.😇

Walking alongside children like Neimar fills our hearts with hope. Every step forward and every new word mastered is a victory worth celebrating! 🤍

At 6 years old, Antoni brightens our CarePoint with an enduring smile and contagious enthusiasm. To him, this place is much more than a dining hall: it is his second home, a sanctuary that has watched him grow ever since he was a newborn in his mother’s arms.🤗

He currently lives with his maternal grandparents following his parents' separation. Although financial hardship kept him from starting school this year, and he faces a few learning and attention challenges, Antoni shows an incredible desire to grow every single day. He is a joyful boy, bright-spirited, and always eager to volunteer, participate in activities, listen closely, and learn new things.🙏🏻

In his free time, nothing brings him more joy than playing soccer with his cousin Guivian. And when lunchtime arrives, his whole face lights up knowing there is rice pudding - his absolute favorite treat lovingly prepared by our cooks.😁

His mother was part of our volunteer team until life circumstances led her to relocate to another community a couple of years ago. Today, Antoni continues to find shelter in the love of his grandparents and the steadfast support of our Care Point, where we will keep walking alongside him every step of the way so he never lacks love, nutrition, or the opportunity to reach his dreams. 🩵

For many, a children's dining center may seem like just a place to receive a plate of food. For Sofía, it represents a safe space where she discovered her worth and met the person who changed her outlook on life: Teacher Fabiola, facilitator at Alas de Cristo Rey Care Point. ❤️

Every week, Sofía eagerly looks forward to the day she attends. From day one, she noticed the dedication and tenderness with which Teacher Fabiola cares for each child: always ready with encouraging words for whoever feels sad, a reassuring smile for anyone who arrives afraid, and a warm hug for whoever needs to feel loved. Rather than simply speaking about values like respect, responsibility, honesty, and kindness, Fabiola demonstrates them through her own daily example. 🤝

Watching her teach sparked a clear goal in Sofía’s heart: "When I grow up, I want to be like Teacher Fabiola." She dreams of teaching with that very same patience, listening with empathy, and making sure other children feel as cherished and important as she feels today. 📚✏️

Her dream goes even further: Sofía hopes to study, prepare herself, and one day return to a CarePoint - not as a child needing support, but as a teacher who inspires new generations to believe in their dreams and overcome any obstacle.

Behind every child who visits our Care Point lies a story that touches our hearts and teaches us about resilience❤️. Today, we want to share the testimony of Maite, an 11-year-old girl who, alongside her parents and three siblings (two brothers and a baby sister), reminds us what it means to keep going with faith🙏🏻

When she was only 5 years old, Maite traveled with her father to the United States in search of a better life and brighter opportunities for their family🙏🏻. With God's blessing, they arrived safely, yet the journey and the adjustment were especially challenging for a little girl so young. Two years later, her father was deported - a heartbreaking separation that left her feeling isolated and uncertain far away from home. Despite the heartache, she held onto the belief that everything happened according to God’s will🕊️

Her parents later arranged for her return to her home country. Today, Maite is proudly in the fifth grade, surrounded by the warmth of her family, and thriving in a safe space where she receives care and nutrition as part of our dining room once again🩵

Stories like Maite’s remind us how crucial it is to stand as a community of love and support for children returning with renewed dreams🌟. Many blessings to her and her family!🙌💖
