Dilen always comes to the CarePoint to play with other kids and enjoy the meal we serve. He also helps with cleaning the yard.

Sanele is also a dedicated member of our Change Makers program, where he consistently shows responsibility and initiative. He takes the lead in setting up chairs and preparing the classroom, ensuring everything is organized and ready.

Beyond these roles, Sanele willingly volunteers in all our activities, always ready to lend a helping hand. His positive attitude, commitment, and willingness to serve make him a valuable part of our community. We are truly honored to have him at our care point.

Meet Rachel, a vibrant 8-year-old girl with a heart full of joy and a spirit ready for adventure. As the oldest daughter in her family, she takes her role as a "big sister" seriously, pouring so much love into her 2-year-old baby sister. 👭💕 For Rachel, family is where everything begins, and her home is filled with the excitement of watching her little sister grow.

Living right in front of the local soccer field, Rachel’s life is naturally filled with energy and movement. ⚽🏟️ She finds true happiness playing and laughing with her schoolmates and friends, cherishing every moment of connection. Now, a new chapter is beginning: Rachel is officially entering fourth grade! 🎓📚 She is absolutely thrilled to be heading back to classes, ready to learn new things and create more memories with her friends in the classroom.

Whether she’s finishing a game on the field or sitting down to enjoy her favorite meal—a delicious plate of Chinese rice🍜🥢—Rachel carries a contagious smile that lights up her community. Her journey is a beautiful reminder of the excitement of childhood, supported by the love of her family and the life-changing impact of Children's Cup. 🌟🌈

Irene is a 9-year-old girl whose world shines with the joy of her favorite color, pink, and the deep love of her family. 🌸🏠 Living with her mother Suami, her uncle, and her grandparents, she finds her greatest strength in those she loves. Currently in fourth grade, she is passionate about Spanish class because she wants to communicate better, though she always looks forward to recess to play soccer with her friends. ⚽📚

Her daily life is an adventure on two wheels; she loves riding her bicycle for 10 minutes to reach the center, enjoying the exercise and the fun of the ride. 🚲💨 There, besides sharing a meal, she treasures every story taught by Sister Diana. This faith is a core part of who she is, especially when she goes to church with her family and performs in her dance group, where she has learned that God is the most important thing in life. 🙏💃

Between visiting her great-grandmother Sonia and playing at the park, Irene is nurturing a beautiful dream: to become a teacher 🍎👩‍🏫 so she can help other children just as she is being helped today. With her dreaming spirit and unwavering faith, Irene shows us that true happiness comes from gratitude and the love of those around us—a journey made even brighter thanks to the heart and support of Children's Cup. 🌟✨

At 12 years old, Brendy is a true example of courage 💪. After facing the tragic loss of her younger sister—an event that deeply impacted her family—she has managed to rise again with admirable maturity ✨.

Sustained by her faith in God 🙏 and strengthened by the unconditional love she receives at her Care Point ❤️, Brendy has found a sanctuary to heal. Thanks to the support of Children’s Cup 🥤, she has discovered that she is not alone in her journey, finding the encouragement she needed to successfully complete sixth grade 🎓 and continue building her future.

Today, Brendy walks with determination toward her goals:📚 To grow and achieve her academic dreams. 🙌 To serve God with gratitude for all she has received. 🏠 To help her family as a pillar of love.

Brendy does more than just survive adversity; thanks to her perseverance and the community surrounding her, she transforms her story into an inspiration for everyone. ❤️

Gcinile later attended St Joseph’s Primary School, where she performed well academically and successfully progressed in her studies. She has always been dedicated and hardworking. Even after leaving the care point, she continued to excel in her schoolwork.

She has a strong passion for cooking and is currently studying Home Economics at school. In the future, Gcinile aspires to become a lawyer because she is passionate about advocating for the rights of underprivileged children.

What brings me great joy is her deep love for God. She is now in Form 5 and continues to show commitment by actively participating in the Change Makers program. Gcinile remains a dedicated and God-loving young woman.

Over time, Sandziso has shown remarkable growth. He now confidently shares that he is able to pray about almost everything in his life. This is especially meaningful considering the challenges he has faced. Having been left in the care of distant relatives after both parents were absent, Sandziso has endured a difficult upbringing. Yet through these hardships, he has developed a deep and personal dependence on God.

Sandziso testifies that he has experienced God’s provision in tangible ways. In the past year, during a time when he did not have a school uniform, a stranger came forward and provided one for him. This moment strengthened his faith and reminded him that God sees and responds to his needs.

Today, Sandziso continues to trust in God daily. In his own words, he shares, “I am trusting God every day in my life to take care of my needs and lead me where I need to be.” His growing faith is a powerful reflection of the spiritual foundation being nurtured at the CarePoint.
