Tonga is a town located in the Mpumalanga (which means “place where the sun rises”) province of South Africa. Due to the province’s spectacular scenic beauty and abundance of wildlife, it is one of South Africa’s major tourist destinations. It is home to a diverse range of cultures including Swazi, Ndebele, Afrikaans, Tsonga, Zulu, Mapulana, Portuguese and Pedi communities.
